Problem
I can’t get past the QR code scanning during the initial setup of Toadi
Solution
This can have a number of different reasons:
Something is wrong with the WiFi settings entered (SSID + password are both case sensitive)
Toadi and / or your smartphone do not have a (good) internet connection at the location where the QR is scanned
Toadi's battery has died, in this case Toadi’s eyes won’t light up when on the charging station
To have Toadi scan for QR codes, you must place her in emergency stop mode by placing your hand on the screen in the front center. Toadi will then stop, then place her at a location where WiFi is (important to make the connection) and show the QR code again.
If the app passes this step, it means that it has succeeded.
Then follow the further steps in the app to use Toadi.
If the battery is flat, the description above also counts, but then Toadi is best placed on the charging station for a few hours before entering the QR code scanning mode.
